Students under age 18 and those wishing to earn a certificate of driver’s education completion in order to get a 10% discount on their auto insurance, must complete 12 hours of behind-the-wheel driving lessons in the driving school’s car with a certified driving instructor. Ringer’s charges $75 for each 1-hour driving lesson. 12 x $75 + $900. Ringer’s also charges a $150 transfer fee for students wishing to transfer from another driving school. $900 + $150 = $1,050
