Private Driving Lessons
In Massachusetts, students older than 18 years of age are not required to complete a driver’s education program in order to be eligible to take the road test. It is recommended that adult students take private driving lessons to become a safe driver and prepare to pass the road test. Adult students who have previously held a valid MA driver’s license benefit from private driving lessons, to refresh/reestablish the driving habits needed to pass the road test. Adult students who have held a valid license in a country other than the U.S.A. benefit from private lessons to make sure they’re correctly applying the rules of the road they learned from the Massachusetts Driver’s Manual in order to pass the permit test.
